While the BB-HAC10 Zojirushi Mini Breadmaker is loved by most people who purchase it, a few drawbacks have been pointed out. Here they are:
- While the bread is baking on top of the paddle, it leaves a whole in the bottom of your loaf. (You can see what we mean in the video on the Features page. To rectify this, you can remove the paddle before the third stage of rising begins.
- The main body and the lid of the BB-HAC10 gets very hot while in use, so due caution is necessary.
- This unit is limited in its programming capabilities. Some breads, such as sourdough, take much longer to rise and the BB-HAC10 doesn't allow for programming in that extra time. And if you'd like to bake your bread a little longer for some reason, you don't have the flexibility to do that with this machine.
- The machine will beep when it's time to add ingredients, but some complain that the beeping isn't loud enough.
There you have it. In my case none of these are make it or break it situations, but your circumstances may be different, so please consider the above points before buying the Zojirushi Mini Breadmaker
